Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The Free plan holds up to 50 items and stays free — there is no card field anywhere in signup. Standard and Pro are activated manually while SydIN is in early access, so you talk to a person before you ever pay.
What happens if I outgrow the Free plan?
Nothing breaks and nothing is deleted. You keep every item you already added — you are simply asked to upgrade before adding more. Moving up raises the limits; nothing about your existing records changes.
Can I get my data out?
Yes, on every plan including Free. CSV export is always available. Standard adds Excel and PDF exports, plus CSV and Excel import if you are moving off a spreadsheet.
Is my inventory private?
Yes. Each workspace is isolated at the database level, so no other SydIN customer can read your items, suppliers, or prices. The only thing that can be public is a QR item page, and only for the items you choose to share.
Do I need a barcode scanner device?
No. SydIN uses your phone camera to scan barcodes and QR codes, and pairs it with the laptop you are working on. Scanning is included from the Standard plan.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. SydIN runs in the browser on phone, tablet, and laptop — nothing to install. Scanning is designed for the phone specifically, since that is where stock work actually happens.
